Dear Families & Volunteers,
Thank you for getting involved with Fall Fest and being willing to be a blessing to all the kids of the church and this community. It’s going to be lots of fun! Below are a few more details of what you will need to help the evening run smoothly or just to answer questions you might have about Trunk or Treat.
Please arrive at the church no later than 5:00 PM to park your vehicle in the Youth parking lot Please don’t set up yet. At 6:00 you man begin setting up your trunk. Please have all your decorations ready to go by 6:30 PM. Choose an appropriate theme for your trunk that will be festive and fun. Your decorations may extend out onto the ground in front of your trunk if you’d like. We don’t want anything that would be scary or inappropriate for a church family celebration.
Some suggestions include: Themes such as Bible characters or stories, children’s movies, pumpkins, balloons, lights (we will do our best to have electric hookups, if you bring the cords), garland of leaves or paper chains, cartoon characters, sports, fall harvest, etc. Google or Pinterest are great sources for inspiration. Get as creative as you’d like!
To avoid multiple cars with the same themes, all ideas will be first come first serve! Because of this, once you submit your idea, please commit to your idea.
The Trunk or Treat will go from 6:30 - 7:30 PM. Please do not move your car until after 7:30 PM, and be sure to have someone stay with your vehicle the entire hour. You may want to bring jackets, gloves, and lawn chairs, as well as flashlights if need be.
If we have rain, we are planning to reschedule the entire Fall Fest for the following week. Pray for great weather!
